• Share best practices with OA adult leaders from across your Region

DYLC will be held concurrently with NLS in the Central Region during the following weekends in 2018.

Registration

Registration is handled through the National Order of the Arrow Registration system (NOAERS) that is used for NOAC and other National events. Please click here to open NOAERS.

The Central Region is hosting 3 National Leadership Seminars in 2018.

The National Leadership Seminar is a weekend conference focused on the skills and attributes of leadership. It is intended primarily to enhance the leadership skills of the Order of the Arrow’s key youth and adult members as they seek to improve their services to the Boy Scouts of America and the greater community. The weekend format is designed to complement the longer, more detailed Wood Badge and National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) Programs. Near the end of the seminar, participants make a contract with themselves to apply the skills studied in the seminar on projects in their lodge, council, and community.

Purpose

First and foremost, to facilitate inter-lodge communication, idea sharing, to update lodges on new National Order of the Arrow programs, and planning for this year’s conclave. One of the most beneficial elements the Council of Chiefs can offer is a fun, interactive environment where Arrowmen can build friendships and hang out with like minded individuals and exchange resources. For these reasons, and after consulting the some key lodge leadership, we have decided to hold the Council of Chiefs at Kalahari Resort to help us fulfill this purpose.

Electronics Drive

At this year’s Winter Council of Chiefs, the section will be giving cheerful service by collecting used electronics that you may need to dispose of! The section will then recycle these electronics for you!

For each electronic that a youth brings, they will receive a raffle ticket. The winner of this raffle will win a free ticket to the 2019 Section Conclave!

Section C-7 is not responsible for deleting any data that may be on the electronics you bring. Please do not bring any electronics larger than a small television.
