As summer is quickly approaching and there are many opportunities to stay involved with the Order of the Arrow. Throughout the summer there are many High Adventure opportunities. I can’t think of a better way to spend a summer than attending OA Ocean Adventure at Florida Sea Base, OA Trail Crew at Philmont, or Wilderness Voyage and Canadian Odyssey at Northern Tier. You can sign up for any of these opportunities by going to: http://adventure.oa-bsa.org/. The BIG event this summer is the National Order of the Arrow Conference from July 30 – August 4. This event is going to be held at Michigan State University. If you have never been to a NOAC before, this is surely the year to attend! Make sure to talk with your Lodge Chief in order to sign up before time runs out! Finally, I charge all Arrowmen in our Section to live everyday by the three values of our organization. We spent just one weekend “Finding the Brotherhood.” What we accomplished during Conclave doesn’t end there. Continue to be a positive influence in other peoples’ lives. Brotherhood is all around us, but once in a while it takes a weekend to stop and realize all the people that are truly there for us. Yours in Cheerful Service, Robert Gale |

After a weekend of “Finding the Brotherhood,” I couldn’t be more impressed by all the Arrowmen in Section C-7. This year’s Conclave had the largest amount of participants and I can proudly say that I, along with over 325 Arrowmen, found the Brotherhood!! There was a lot of planning and hard work that was put in to make this weekend a success. Thank you to all those that put forth their dedication, time, and leadership to ensure everyone had a great time. I would especially like to thank Northwest Suburban Council and Lakota Lodge for hosting us at Camp Lakota.
Summer is quickly approaching and although many see it as the “off season,” our Arrowmen have numerous opportunities to serve. This summer:
